Portia used to be a rock star. Kind of. Now she mostly teaches piano lessons. And somehow she let her mother talk her into attending a speed dating event.
Bad plan.
Just when Portia’s face is about to freeze into a fake smile for all eternity, Birdie walks up to the bar during a break. Birdie is pretty, fascinating, and—sadly for Portia—attracted to the nerdy-cute guy at a nearby table.
But when Birdie and her new crush make a break for it, they invite Portia to join them.
